Nourish & Thrive is hosting the Father’s Edition Breastfeeding Education On-Demand Class on July 12th, 2026 from 3pm-4pm.
This virtual session is designed specifically for Black fathers and fathers-to-be in Durham County and also is available for fathers nationwide. T
he class offers practical, culturally centered guidance on how to support breastfeeding mothers.
The class covers:
- Why breastfeeding matters
- The father’s role in breastfeeding success
- What mothers experience during breastfeeding
- Practical ways dads can help (including pump cleaning and milk storage)
- Real challenges and real solutions
