Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities on Board at the US Breastfeeding Committee

Breastfeed Orange NC is delighted to share that Love Anderson, co-Founder of Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities and Breastfeed Durham, has been elected to the US Breastfeeding Committee (USBC) 2025-2026 Board of Directors

Love has brought strong leadership, dedication, energy, and passion to the Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities initiative. The initiative has expanded from the pilot project in Carrboro and Chapel Hill to a national organization with 24 local and regional coalitions in North Carolina and nationwide, including the North Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition and the SAFE Infant Feeding Team. With Love’s dedication and guidance, the organization continues to support communities and grow.

Thank you to Love for your dedication to building a world in which communities make a commitment to equitable policies and practices to protect and promote the rights of all families to breastfeed, chestfeed, and provide human milk for our youngest community members and to welcome and support all families to meet their infant feeding goals.
